Nicholas Sim

Postdoctoral Fellow

Nicholas was born and raised in Singapore. He completed his BSc in Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London before heading back to Singapore to pursue his PhD, at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore), on how Fn14 receptor overexpression alters the epigenetic, transcriptomic and metabolic signatures in triple-negative breast cancers to promote metastasis. He joined the DNA Replication Group in February 2024 as a postdoctoral fellow to investigate how the pre-replication complex is recruited to DNA and aberrations that can promote cancer progression. Outside the lab, Nicholas is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu enthusiast and always on the hunt for good food.
