PhD Student

Josh grew up in Cornwall, England. He received his MChem in July 2020 from Durham University, UK, working in Clare Mahon‘s group with protein-polymer conjugate materials to study protein migration within bacterial outer membranes. Josh started his PhD at Imperial College London in October 2020, working across Anna Barnard‘s, Alexis Barr‘s and Christian Speck’s groups to develop peptides that stall origin licensing and hopefully induce apoptosis in non-small cell lung cancer cells. In his free time, Josh plays a lot of football, reads regularly, and binges Netflix.
